WILD MAGIC: A Screening & Discussion with Very Ape

Winner of the 2025 Artistic Vision Award at Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, WILD MAGIC is a kaleidoscopic road trip through modern mystical Americana, revealing the hidden magic that’s happening all around us.

Directed by Sean Dunne and produced by Cass Greener of Very Ape, WILD MAGIC is a living tribute to the glimmering pockets of light beneath the crumbling facade of the American Dream that invites viewers to slow down and engage with the unseen.

SEAN DUNNE has directed over sixteen documentary films since the premiere of his short film The Archive (Sundance, 2009). Dunne showcases people with rich stories and profound views on the human experience. Dunne’s first feature Oxyana, about an old coal mining town caught in the grips of the opioid epidemic, premiered and won at Tribeca Film Festival in 2013. Other notable films of Dunne’s include American Juggalo, Florida Man, and Cam Girlz.
